Country Icon Alan Jackson Celebrates New Granddaughter and Prepares for a Historic Farewell
Country music legend Alan Jackson is celebrating another joyful milestone as his family continues to grow. His eldest daughter, Mattie Jackson, has welcomed her second child — a beautiful baby girl named Charlotte “Charlie” Ann Smith.
Mattie shared the heartwarming news on Instagram, revealing that little Charlie arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend. Born on February 13, 2026, the newborn weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 20 inches long, making the day even more meaningful for the Jackson family.
“Our little Valentine decided to make her entrance a few days early, and we couldn’t be more in love with her,” Mattie wrote. “You are the sweetest little blessing, our angel girl. Momma, Dada, and big brother Ryman already love you so much.”
Alongside her message, Mattie posted touching newborn photos as well as a warm family portrait, capturing the joy of the moment. Baby Charlotte joins her older brother, Wesley Alan Smith, who was born in 2024.

Mattie is the eldest of Alan Jackson’s three daughters, alongside Alexandra and Dani — both of whom are also expecting children. During the recent holiday season, Jackson delighted fans by sharing a festive family photo of all three daughters proudly displaying their baby bumps, captioned, “Merry Christmas from our growing family! — Alan & Denise.”
The Jackson family tree continues to flourish. Alan is also grandfather to Jackson Alvie Bradshaw, Alexandra’s son, and with two more grandchildren expected soon, the family is entering a particularly exciting chapter filled with new beginnings.
While celebrating these personal joys, Alan Jackson is also preparing for a deeply meaningful professional milestone. This summer, he will take the stage one final time at Nissan Stadium for a farewell concert marking the close of his legendary career.
The response from fans has been extraordinary — all 55,000 tickets sold out almost immediately, underscoring the lasting impact of Jackson’s music across generations. Reflecting on the moment, the Country Music Hall of Fame member shared his gratitude:
“I’m proud and overwhelmed by the response from my fans. I just wish there were enough seats for everyone who wanted to be there. I truly appreciate all the people who have come to my shows and supported me throughout the years.”

The farewell event promises to be unforgettable, featuring an all-star lineup of country music’s biggest names, including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Lee Ann Womack, with more special guests yet to be announced.
From celebrating new life to taking a final bow on stage, this season marks a truly unforgettable chapter for Alan Jackson — one defined by legacy, family, and a lifetime of music that has touched millions.
